Who writes this site
I am Ken Cal, editor of King Johnnie Alternatives. I research King Johnnie and the offshore casinos Australians compare it with, and I write every page on this site in my own words. More about me is on my author page, and my reviewer profile is on Trustpilot.
What this site covers
This site answers one question: if King Johnnie is not an option for you, what are the alternatives, and how do they compare? It covers:
- the comparison of three alternatives on bonus, wagering, limits, owner and licence;
- head-to-head pages for Aerobet, Winberry and MateSlots;
- a review of King Johnnie, its bonus terms and its owner and sister sites.
It does not cover logins, apps, “new link” or mirror addresses, or ways around ACMA blocks, and it never will.
How I research
I start with the regulator’s licence record, then the bonus, payment and limit terms, review sites, Trustpilot and player complaints. Every figure carries a check date, conflicting sources are shown side by side, and amounts are in Australian dollars. I do not deposit or play for these guides. The full method is on how I researched these casinos.
How the site is paid for
Some buttons are affiliate links: if you sign up at a casino through them, the site may earn a commission. That never changes the figures, the order of facts or a verdict, and the casinos do not see or edit the text before it is published. I have no commercial relationship with King Johnnie.
Corrections
Terms change often at offshore casinos. I re-check every brand at least once a month and update the “checked” date on each page when I do. If a figure is out of date, the newer source wins and I note the change on the page.
